Grocery Associate FT – Winn‑Dixie

Assists the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals for the overnight Grocery Department. Replenishes products during overnight hours, promotes an appealing store environment, and provides courteous and knowledgeable service.

• Service (70%):
  Create a welcoming environment for customers, ensure daily merchandising meets company expectations, maintain product availability and freshness, manage shelf signage, assist customers in finding products.
• Leadership (10%):
  Promote trust and teamwork among associates, communicate company and job information, adhere to laws and company guidelines.
• Financial (10%):
  Monitor inventory/stocking conditions, report discrepancies, review product quality, maintain temperature logs.
• Compliance / Safety (10%):
  Maintain safety standards, follow food handling regulations, execute product recalls, report incidents, ensure equipment safety and proper PPE use.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School or GED.
• Language:
  English (required), Spanish (preferred).
• Experience:
  
  0–3 years supervisory experience (minimum).
• Skills & Abilities:
  Must be 18 years old; authorization to work in the United States; successful completion of pre‑employment drug testing and background check; strong customer service skills; exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
• Environmental Factors:
  Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting loads up to 25 lbs, occasional climbing, exposure to varied indoor/outdoor conditions. Safety risk factors include slips, hazardous equipment, noise, and exposure to cleaning solutions.

  No travel required.

  Occasional.
