As a Correctional Officer, you will oversee and care for inmates while ensuring rules, policies, and procedures are applied fairly and consistently.

Minimum requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred:
  College coursework in behavioral sciences, correctional services, or related fields.
• Training in cultural diversity or sensitivity is a plus.
• Must possess applicable state requisites for employment.
• Ability to work overtime and handle physical and mental stress.
• Reliable attendance and physical alertness on any shift.
• Ability to work up to 16 hours within a rolling 24-hour period.
• Work experience in a correctional setting is preferred.
• May require a valid state driver’s license.
• Mature, flexible, able to command respect and confidence, with high tolerance for stress.
