As a Security Guard – Unarmed Patrol in Sarasota, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Your presence will help deter security‑related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols for financial institution locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help deter unauthorized entry and report any unusual activity.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and other Allied Universal personnel while on duty.
• Remain alert and aware of the surroundings within the financial institution location, responding promptly to any security‑related concerns or emergencies.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
