• Prevent financial loss caused by theft and fraud and support safety and environmental program compliance in assigned store(s).
• Utilize tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring store security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and fostering a shrink-elimination culture.
• Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries; preserve evidence; interact with law enforcement; and testify in criminal and civil actions when required.
• Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and perform duties in a manner that minimizes risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.
• Demonstrate integrity, address asset protection and operational concerns of associates, and remain focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
