Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer – Chemical Site Patrol in Mulberry, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service will support a welcoming atmosphere.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials of individuals accessing restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
- Report and document any unusual observations, security-related incidents, or hazards encountered during patrols or routine activities.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents as needed.
- Remain alert to potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical facilities, and follow established protocols for reporting and/or responding to such situations.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
