As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols in Tallahassee, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $16.56 / Hour
Schedule- Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the location, documenting incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with security-related inquiries and provide directions as needed.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as assigned.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
