Job description
Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver to protect client sites through vehicle and foot patrols, access control, and incident response. In this role, you will monitor premises, enforce site rules, respond to alarms, and complete detailed reports. You will interact with clients and the public, providing professional customer service while maintaining a highly visible security presence. Allied Universal offers structured training, clear post orders, and opportunities to earn advanced certifications and progress into supervisory or specialized security roles nationwide.
Keyresponsibilities
- Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of assigned properties to deter and detect suspicious activity
- Control access to facilities and verify identification of employees, visitors, and contractors
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following established post orders
- Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Maintain readiness and lawful use of assigned firearm per company policy and regulations
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and emergency responders
- Monitor CCTV or other security systems as required by site procedures
- Enforce site rules, safety policies, and client-specific protocols
- Participate in required training, drills, and recertification activities
- Report hazards, maintenance issues, and security concerns promptly
