Location: Medley
Senior Diesel Mechanic

Key Details- Location: Medley, FL – repair/maintenance shop
- Shift: 2nd shift starting 3:00 pm; two‑week rotation:
Week 1 Monday‑Friday (no weekend), Week 2 Monday‑Saturday (off Sunday + a weekday of your choice) - Pay: Starting salary $28+ per hour (experience based)
- Tool allowance: Up to $400 per quarter
- Boot allowance: $150 twice a year

- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on diesel equipment and CNG trucks
- Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts
- Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
- Respond to emergency breakdown service calls
- Conduct safety checks to ensure employee and community safety
- Document parts usage and repair times; maintain accurate paperwork
- Review and act on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate/OSHA standards
- Minimum 4 years of relevant diesel mechanic experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Physically capable of frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching and climbing; able to stand, walk and grasp for extended periods
- Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination
- Team player who values shop cohesion
- Independent and collaborative work ethic
- Enjoys variety and daily problem‑solving challenges
- Determined and proactive problem solver
The job requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, standing, walking, and grasping. Exposure to cuts, burns chemicals, odor, noise, and inc weather is common. The environment includes both indoor garage and outdoor conditions.
