The Davey Tree Surgery Company offers a key opportunity in Utility Line Clearance as a Foreman / Foreperson.

• Supervise crew and provide line clearing and tree trimming services for major electric utility providers.
• Prune treetops, repair damaged trees by trimming or removal, and remove broken limbs from wires, roofs, and other objects.
• Direct crew members and equipment; plan and execute assigned work and tasks.
• Supervise and assist in the proper maintenance, preparation, and operation of all tools and equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Operate as part of a crew with supporting Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber.
• Perform all above mentioned functions.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Driver’s license required;
  Commercial driver’s license preferred but not required.
• Certificates and Licenses:
  Pesticide license (state law), Herbicide license (plus), Line clearance certification (near utility transmission lines), ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.
• Electric utility tree trimming/climbing experience preferred.
