Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our fire business unit.

• Service, Troubleshoot & program burglar alarms, fire alarms, closed circuit television, & access control systems
• Ensure equipment is functional and operational
• Diagnose causes of problems or failures in systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and systems repair
• Replace system components as assigned; panels, audible/visual alarms, etc.
• Provide technical support to customers including, remote phone diagnosis, and troubleshooting of signal issues related to formats and receivers
• Interact professionally with customers
• Coordinate with Manager and dispatcher for the purpose of completing service and work orders efficiently
• Inform dispatcher and or manager the status of service to take appropriate action
• Perform test and inspect fire alarm systems
• Maintains assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment

• HS Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of experience with servicing fire alarm systems or NICET II
• Valid Driver Licenses and acceptable driving record
• Basic knowledge of national and local alarm codes including NFPA 72, NEC, & Florida Building Code
• Must be able to demonstrate responsibility in being on time, regular consistent work attendance, good communication and completing all necessary field documentation as needed
• The ability to carry and climb step/extension ladders where needed and lift objects up to 50 pounds when needed
• Must be able to demonstrate basic computer/tablet skills

• NICET Certification
• Manufacturer certifications preferred (ex. Siemens, Notifier, Honeywell, Bosch)
• FASA/BASA
• 3+ years of Burglar Alarm Service Experience
• 3+ years of CCTV/ IP-CCTV Service Experience
• 3+ years of Access Control Service Experience

Salary: $25 - $29 per hour with opportunities for overtime.
