What You’ll DoAs a Plant Builder, you’ll play a key role in the construction of treatment plants and supporting systems. You’ll work on everything from process piping to concrete work and mechanical equipment installation — learning, doing, and growing every day.
Your Daily Responsibilities- Assist with the layout, assembly, and installation of plant piping systems
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, welding, or installation
- Attach pipes to structures, tanks, and equipment using clamps, supports, or welding tools
- Use tools such as saws, pipe threaders, torches, benders, and welders safely and efficiently
- Plan and execute work according to specifications and direction from supervisors
- Remove, repair, and replace worn or damaged components
- Support plant construction activities including concrete placement, site work, formwork, and building installation
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe work area at all times
- Basic understanding of pipe systems, joints, and fittings (push joint, MJ, TR‑Flex, restrained, and flanged)
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and restraint joint charts
- Comfortable using hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and welding equipment
- Ability to perform construction math, measure accurately, and calculate slopes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of safe work practices and hazard identification
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs
- Ability to climb in and out of trenches or structures
- Ability to distinguish normal jobsite sounds (backup alarms, voices, equipment)
- Required PPE: hard hat, hearing and eye protection, high‑visibility apparel
- 1+ year of pipe fitting or plant construction experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and commitment to learning
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Hours:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM - Overtime may be required based on production needs
- Occasional Saturday work as necessary;
Sundays off - Work performed within a 70‑mile radius of Mayo, FL
