Field Telecommunications Technician – Overview

Join SONIFI Solutions, Inc. as a Field Telecommunications Technician in the Tampa, FL area. In this role you will act as the face of our organization, resolving technical issues, guiding customers, and ensuring a superior customer experience across a range of hospitality and healthcare environments.

• Support customers throughout the region using company-provided vehicle, tools, phone, and laptop.
• Resolve technical issues related to high‑speed internet, satellite TV, digital TV, telecom, CATV, MATV, head‑end, RF, networking, and computer troubleshooting.
• Communicate thoughtfully and professionally with hospitality staff and adapt to the protocols and empathy required in healthcare settings.
• Occasionally travel outside your area, work on‑call, and perform overtime or weekend work to meet service‑level agreements.

• Technical degree plus at least one year of related experience, OR high school diploma/GED plus three years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in any of the following areas: high‑speed internet, satellite TV, digital TV, telecom, CATV, MATV, head‑end, RF, networking, and/or computer troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving habits.

• Must be able to travel occasionally and work flexible hours, including weekend and overtime.
• Must be willing to work independently while providing guidance and support to customers.

Generally starting at $25 – $32 per hour, with the final rate based on location, experience, education, specialty, and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
