Plumber Journeyman

Description

A Journeyman Plumber is needed for Residential and Commercial jobs in the Starke, Florida and the surrounding area. They will oversee the completion of all aspects of plumbing projects. Performs a full range of plumbing tasks safely, including assemble, install, or repair pipes according to specifications or plumbing codes.

• Inspects, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures
• Leads troubleshooting efforts and repairs always focused on quality services
• Promotes and fosters teamwork within the plumbing project crew
• Maintain organization and ensure schedules are met
• Provides support by managing, coordinating and following job schedules: i.e., labor hours, material costs, change orders
• Support a safe and clean work environment and follow company procedures
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
• This position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization
• Performs other duties and special projects

Plumber

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• 5 years of plumbing experience
• Knowledge of plumbing installation, maintenance and repair skills
• Ability to develop and implement planned maintenance programs
• Ability to operate smartphone technology, hand tools and power tools
• Apply shop mathematics to solve problems
• Able to read instructions and blueprints and follow safety procedures
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and travel independently
• Must have a valid Drivers License & reliable transportation
• Legally eligible to work in the US
• Pre-employment background screening (criminal, drug screen and DMV) is required for all positions
