The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair services to support the organization’s Facilities Maintenance (FM) functions.
Qualifications- Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing maintenance tasks under minimum supervision.
- Experience and knowledge of maintenance areas involving electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, building construction, and rough and finish carpentry.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions of complex nature, read and follow blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence, satisfactory driving record, and insurable under the corporate policy.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
- Ability to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. Will work with cleaning chemicals and follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. While performing this job’s duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to assist in lifting equipment and move furniture when necessary; will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
