Your Role:
As our Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our property in excellent working order. From carpentry and plumbing to electrical and HVAC repairs, your expertise ensures guests enjoy a safe, comfortable stay and that our operations run without a hitch.
🔑What You’ll Do:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and hotel facilities — including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend the life of hotel equipment and avoid costly downtime
- Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and staff, solving issues like clogged drains, faulty lights, and equipment malfunctions
- Assist with routine repairs including furniture, fixtures, doors, and more
- Maintain detailed logs and records of work performed
- Support safety programs by identifying hazards and following fire and emergency procedures
- Keep tools and work areas organized and clean
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs (compensated with minimum 2-hour pay if called in)
- Assist with special projects to enhance hotel operations and guest experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience (1+ years) in HVAC, refrigeration, and heating systems maintenance
- Proven skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs (2+ years preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with hotel staff and interact professionally with guests
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical training a plus
- Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks both indoors and outdoors (up to 25% outside work)
