Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic
We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our busy Diesel / Repair shop. As a Diesel Heavy Truck Mechanic, you will diagnose and repair issues with trucks and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing routine maintenance (such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements), conducting thorough inspections of engine, transmission, brakes, and other systems, creating repair estimates, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree or completion of an automotive training program is preferred. Certifications like ASE or SAE are a plus. A current CDL A or B license is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to certify annual DOT inspections are necessary.
Compensation ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
