American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Marine Strategic Planning Specialist in Grant-Valkaria, FL. You will drive market analysis, competitor intelligence, and new product planning for Honda Marine outboard engines and marine rigging systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct market research, competitive benchmarking, and customer demographic analyses for marine products.
- Define strategic positioning, pricing, and volume targets for new outboard motor model introductions.
- Act as the voice of the customer during engineering concept reviews, prototype builds, and marine test trials.
- Coordinate product launch activities, technical feature specifications, and sales promotion alignments.
- Maintain deep industry knowledge through boat builder visits, dealer meetings, and major boat shows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of strategic planning, product management, or marketing experience in the marine industry.
- Deep understanding of marine outboard propulsion systems, boat builders, and customer expectations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in vessel operation and hands-on marine product evaluation.
- Strong executive presentation, analytical reasoning, and project management skills.
