We're looking for a motivated Installation Foreman to lead field crews and deliver high-quality turf grass (sod) installation projects safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives outdoors, leads by example, tows and operates equipment confidently, and takes pride in getting the job done right.
What You'll Be Responsible For- Lead, supervise, and support daily activities of installation crew members
- Plan and execute turf grass (sod) installation assignments to meet productivity and quality standards
- Ensure crews follow all safety procedures and company expectations
- Communicate clearly with crew members and management
- Monitor job progress and address issues in real time
- Train and develop crew members on proper installation techniques
- Safely tow, haul, and maneuver trailers (open, enclosed, and gooseneck) between job sites
- Maintain equipment, tools, and job site organization
- Represent the company professionally on job sites
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a field crew
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish preferred
- Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Dependability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including early morning starts
- 2–3 years of leadership experience in a Foreman, Crew Lead, or Supervisor role
- 2+ years of landscaping, sod installation, or related field experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience safely towing trailers, including gooseneck (preferred)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Experience operating landscaping equipment is a plus
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50–75 pounds regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and working on uneven terrain
- Outdoor work in heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions
- Comfortable with early morning start times and extended hours during peak season
- Pay: $22–$25/hr based on experience
