Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

Bayonet Plumbing & HVAC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in Sarasota, FL. This position is responsible for a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving shipments, organizing inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing physical tasks throughout the day.

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries to verify accuracy and condition of items.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for customer delivery or transfer.
• Stock materials in designated areas and maintain organized inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including frequent mounting and dismounting.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing trash, sweeping, and organizing materials.
• Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outbound orders.
• Ensure products are labeled and stored according to company standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment.

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• 1+ years of warehouse experience (preferred)
• Ability to pass all required safety training, background checks, and drug screening.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Self‑motivated, punctual, and dependable with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in varying warehouse conditions (e.g., heat, cold, noise).
