Material Handler Coordinator

Support the day-to-day operation of the organization's warehouse by coordinating the handling, storage, and movement of supplies, materials, and equipment. This role follows established procedures to maintain accurate inventory, support efficient goods flow, and protect warehouse space and equipment.

PAY $26.50 per hour

SCHEDULE Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.

-5:00 p.m. | 40 scheduled hours per week, with overtime

Oversees the daily operations of the organization's warehouse, including processing, packaging, and storage of materials and equipment. Maintains accurate inventory records and audits incoming goods. Supervises receipt, storage, and shipment activities, ensuring compliance with established procedures. Coordinates schedules to optimize warehouse space and the flow of goods. Ensures proper maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment. Requires knowledge gained through experience or specialized training, with well-defined procedures and guidelines.

Typically requires at least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Process, package, and store supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain accountability for materials and supplies held in warehouse storage areas; audit goods received.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and complete related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare and coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to control the flow of goods and use warehouse space effectively.
• Support effective operating procedures, space utilization, and the maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

• Typically requires at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of work routines and procedures in the discipline; technical procedures and decision-making guidelines are clearly defined.
• Able to work within established procedures that may include a variety of work routines.

Must be flexible to work weekday overtime as needed, especially on Thursdays and Fridays.
