Escrow Assistant

Job Description

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have an ESCROW ASSISTANT opportunity with a California-based provider known for its confidential, tech‑driven, statewide escrow services. Upon hire to company's payroll, one will be subject to full benefits and monthly bonus.
ESCROW ASSISTANT is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

• Assist in opening new escrow files, collecting required documents, and entering data into escrow systems.
• Prepare, review, and distribute escrow instructions, amendments, and related transaction paperwork.
• Maintain communication with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and title officers to obtain necessary information and provide status updates.
• Order demands, payoffs, HOA documents, title reports, and other required items.
• Coordinate document signatures and ensure all forms are properly executed and returned.
• Balance files, prepare settlement statements, and assist with disbursements.
• Ensure all compliance, regulatory, and company policies are followed throughout the transaction.
• Provide administrative support, including file maintenance, scanning, and handling incoming/outgoing correspondence; along with lien releases and wire verifications.

• 1‑2 years prior escrow or title assistant work experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Qualia software experience is a plus
• Bulk sale escrow experience is a plus

$24.00 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a 401(k) plan.
