Camp Counselor (Kennel Technician-Day Care Attendant)

Base pay range: $12.00/hr - $14.00/hr

About the Job: A Camp Counselor assists with animal care, heavy cleaning and play yard monitoring.

• Assisting in animal care.
• Heavy cleaning of doggy play yards & cabins.
• Active supervision of the health & behavior of packs of dogs.
• Responsible for feeding & providing general care of a volume of dogs.
• Team Communication & Leadership skills.
• Customer Service - having professional & happy conversations with pet parents during rush times.
• A positive & energetic attitude is a must.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment following strict daily cleaning & safety protocols!
• Must be able to work at a fast & efficient pace.
• Attention to detail regarding animal care.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. (18 years old or older).
• Be able to lift 25-50 lbs. if needed.
• Constantly walk and/or stand the entire shift.
• Must be comfortable monitoring up to 25 dogs at a time.
• Open availability/flexible scheduling. (Shifts vary between hours 6am-7:30pm).
• 30-40 hours per week.
• Holidays & Weekend availability required.
