Merit Professional Services is looking to hire an Industrial Environmental Compliance Inspector to service our North Texas clients.

Our Industrial Environmental Compliance Inspector enjoys flexible hours and a dynamic work environment. As an Industrial Environmental Compliance Inspector, you will be assigned 55–60 industrial sites that require quarterly and annual inspections. While on-site, you will inspect for potential stormwater pollution and verify that all onsite records are properly maintained. You will communicate directly with the site manager on what actions they need to take in order to maintain compliance with local, TCEQ, and EPA regulations.

Assigned 55–60 industrial sites, perform quarterly and annual inspections, inspect for stormwater pollution, verify records, communicate compliance actions to site managers.

• An environmental degree or experience in Stormwater Inspecting/Consulting is preferred but not required.
• Construction experience is helpful but not required.
• Comfortable driving several hours each day.
• Highly organized, self-starter individual.
• Excellent customer service skills as you will be interacting with each project's onsite client representative.
• Computer literacy, fast typing, and ability to navigate and use the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess a clean driving record and must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• This is not a remote position.
