Description

Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, is looking for a CT Technologist to join our FSED in Garland. This is a PRN, part‑time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a leading provider of healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
  • Prepare exam equipment and patient instructions.
  • Consistently utilize radiation protection methods and use shielding as necessary.
  • Obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
  • Responsible for the post processing of data.
  • Assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
  • Assist during codes.
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
  • Associate Degree.
  • Experience at an FSED.
