Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm & Friday, 8:00am – 2:00pm

Here’s What You Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Six months Medical experience in a Clinic (preferred)
  • Six months Customer Service experience in a Business Office Environment (preferred)
  • Outgoing individual with a friendly attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task front desk job responsibilities for a busy Family Practice/Internal Medicine Clinic
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of insurance authorization/billing requirements
  • Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Knowledge of clinic procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
  • Team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
What You Will Do
  • Deliver care to patients utilizing the Medical Office Receptionist Process
  • Under direct supervision, perform patient check-in at the time of visit and complete all paperwork necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient and all clinic and regulatory policies are in compliance.
  • Schedule appointments according to office guideline.
  • Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductible amounts.
  • Copy/scan patient access related hard copy materials (e.g., , referrals, insurance cards, etc.) into the correct location in the electronic medical record.
  • Prepare charts for patient appointments making sure all necessary information is complete.
  • Confirm next day appointments and alert patients as to what documentation is needed, including details associated with time-of-service payment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
