Supports the property and casualty underwriting team by assisting in the assessment and appraisal of risks for insurance purposes. Conducts preliminary evaluations, gathers and organizes relevant documentation, and ensures accurate reporting to support senior appraisers and underwriters in decision-making.

• Assist in evaluating property and asset values to support risk assessment.
• Collect and analyze data such as property details, market conditions, and comparable valuations.
• Prepare preliminary reports and summarize findings for review by senior appraisers.
• Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate appraisal data is integrated into policy decisions.
• Maintain databases and documentation of valuations for compliance and audit requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, real estate, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in appraisal support, insurance, or related analytical roles preferred.
• Familiarity with appraisal processes, valuation techniques, and insurance industry practices is an advantage.

• Appraiser Trainee Permit or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe.
• State-specific licensing requirements may apply based on jurisdiction.
