Staff Accountant

Quest Group Staffing is actively recruiting for a detail‑oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support our accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Net Suite and a strong foundation in accounting principles. This role plays a key part in month‑end close, general ledger maintenance, and financial analysis.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank and credit card accounts
• Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate accounting records in Net Suite
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues
• Identify and recommend process improvements within accounting operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• Previous hands‑on experience with Net Suite (required)
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
