Position Summary
This Video Editor will be a pivotal member of the Atlanta Falcons digital video team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Video Production, the editor will work on a variety of content types—including feature storytelling (long‑form and short‑form), hype videos, highlights, community initiative content, and more—and deliver it across all Falcons distribution channels such as social media, , You Tube, and in‑game presentations at Mercedes‑Benz Stadium.

The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of high‑performing content strategies that maximize impact.

• Edit both long‑form and short‑form storytelling features, highlighting the team, player stories, community initiatives, and more.
• Be a key member of the ‘On the Rise’ Falcons long‑form series team.
• Produce hype videos of the team and players.
• Compile quick‑turn highlights from in‑house cameras during game days and training camp for rapid publication on web and social platforms.
• Research & produce frameworks for feature storytelling projects.
• Write voice‑over scripts as needed.
• Collaborate with the Falcons’ social and digital team to maximize platform success.
• Maintain organized and properly named video assets through logging and archival procedures.
• Execute motion‑graphics templates and create custom motion graphics for editing projects.
• Provide general support for larger Falcons video team projects, including creative capture days, control room support for large‑scale projects, and additional camera support.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in film/video post‑production. Experience in sports is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Premiere and After Effects).
• Strong communication skills with digital and communications staff.
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish on short timelines.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of video asset organization processes.
• Camera skills are preferred but not required.
