We are seeking a dependable Dental Assistant for a private oral surgery, implant, and facial aesthetics practice.
In this role you will assist with surgical procedures, implant placements, sedation cases, and aesthetic treatments, including Botox, fillers, and skincare services (training provided). You will also support patient flow, perform radiographs, prepare rooms, manage sterilization, and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities reflect the practice’s surgical, implant, and aesthetic protocols.
Oral Surgery & Implant Assisting
- Set up rooms and trays for extractions, implants, bone grafts, and IV sedation cases.
- Assist chairside during surgical procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.
- Capture clear digital x-rays, CBCT scans, and intraoral photographs.
- Provide accurate pre‑op and post‑op instructions to support recovery and patient comfort.
- Support sedation workflows and patient monitoring as directed.
Facial Aesthetic Services Support
- Assist with Botox, fillers, skincare treatments, and other aesthetic services.
- Prepare and maintain aesthetic treatment rooms and product inventory.
- Capture before‑and‑after photos and support chart documentation.
- Educate patients about treatment options when appropriate — Focus on education rather than hard selling.
- Enhance the patient experience by maintaining an elevated, spa‑like atmosphere during visits.
Patient Flow & Communication
- Greet, seat, and support patients through their surgical or aesthetic visit.
- Assist anxious or first‑time surgical patients with calm, clear guidance.
- Communicate confidently and professionally to enhance trust and comfort.
- Document notes clearly and accurately in patient management software.
Sterilization & Infection Control
- Manage instrument sterilization and operatory turnover to meet OSHA standards.
- Maintain surgical kits, implant components, and aesthetic tools.
- Keep operatories fully stocked, organized, and treatment ready.
Team & Practice Support
- Collaborate with the surgeon, assistants, and admin team to maintain clinic flow.
- Stay proactive and helpful during downtime, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Support special projects, inventory organization, equipment management, and training initiatives.
- Contribute to a professional and patient‑centered culture within the practice.
Who You Are
You’ll be a strong fit if you are:
- Experience: 1–2+ years as a dental assistant; experience in oral surgery or surgical assisting preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficient in X‑ray operation, room setup, and maintaining sterile environments. - Aesthetic Interest: Interest in or experience with facial aesthetics like Botox, fillers, or skincare.
- Personality Traits: Calm, organized, dedicated, and detail oriented.
- Communication: Friendly and engaging, with a passion for patient interaction.
- Adaptability: Able to multitask and stay composed during busy surgical sessions.
- Team Player: Willing to support colleagues and contribute to team success.
- Certifications: Expanded duties, radiology certification, and BLS/CPR highly preferred.
