Registered Behavior Technician – Autism Learning Partners

We are looking for a Registered Behavior Technician to support children and teens with autism. Six or more months of paid or volunteer experience working with children is required. No certification required – we will help you earn your RBT certification.

The Basics
  • Hours:

    Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm;
    Saturdays are optional but welcome.
  • Job type:
    Part‑time
  • Compensation: $21‑$26.75 /hr; earn an extra $2 /hr upon completing RBT certification.
  • We provide paid training and cover expenses for required background checks, physical exam, TB test, and immunizations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED and at least one semester of college coursework or current enrollment.
  • 6 + months of paid work, volunteer program, or ABA experience with children.
  • Device capable of capturing session data (smartphone, tablet, laptop) and tech‑savvy.
  • Experience with children who have autism or special needs is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
  • Ability to keep up with active children and maintain professional, enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Pass a criminal background check, motor‑vehicle record, TB test, pre‑employment physical, and required immunizations.
  • Successful completion of mandatory training: orientation, 40 hours RBT training, skills practice, CPR, CPI, and pass the RBT exam.

Responsibilities
  • Learn from Board Certified Behavioral Analysts how to provide therapy to children and families.
  • Use ABA principles to teach communication, social, self‑help, and play skills.
  • Engage actively throughout the session by playing, staying on the floor, or moving with the child.
  • Accurately record treatment data on client goals.
  • Ensure client safety and maintain confidentiality.
