Location:

Flowery Branch, GA. This role focuses on delivering an outstanding customer experience with excellent service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and upholding the company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Cashier/Checker is visible, greeting, engaging and assisting customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle various tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, Offline SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, complex loyalty offers, coupons) and checkout procedures per company policy.
• Adhere to company limits on cash shortages/overages and work to control loss.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons; stay current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Support safety programs by complying with procedures and identifying unsafe conditions, accidents, or issues and notifying management.
• Inspect equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of repairs.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome by answering questions about products throughout the store.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment; manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)
