Senior Accountant

Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and skilled in managing complex accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency. This role will support month‑end close, financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement across the accounting department.

• Perform month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial data
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze variances and provide meaningful insight to management
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows
• Support special projects and additional duties as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred but not required)
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, Sage, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
