The Treasury Control Specialist is responsible for sorting and batching incoming documents, processing checks and coupons through the NCR machine, manually posting payments into CARMS, and scanning/indexing non-sufficient fund (NSF) checks and group reconciliation forms into Content Manager to route to appropriate areas. These processes must be completed within the established timeliness and accuracy benchmarks.

• Must have Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business, Accounting, or Finance; or have a minimum of 2 years work experience in a related function.
• Must demonstrate a logical thought process to analyze problems and implement solutions.
• Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain accurate tracking logs.
• Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure work products are of high quality.
• Must have very good interpersonal skills in order to work in a team environment.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective, positive communication between his/her Manager and other employees in the unit and department.
• Must have excellent organizational skills to successfully prioritize tasks and perform to ensure individual benchmarks are consistently met.
• Must be able to be flexible with work schedule.
• Must be customer focused and service oriented to ensure timely and accurate performance and benchmark achievement.
• Must have the ability to work independently and complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prefer experience with mainframe and CARMS system.
