Senior Actuarial Analyst

Overview

Senior Actuarial Analyst role at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi.

• Enhance and develop pricing models and related rate recommendations
• Analyze and monitor claims trends
• Complete claims triangles and reserve estimates
• Prepare restated financial statements and actuarial exhibits for financial reporting purposes
• Update financial forecast models and assumptions
• Conduct other ad hoc reporting as required

• Above average verbal and written communication skills
• PC skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of databases, SAS, and/or SQL preferred
• Four years of experience in the actuarial field
• (Years of experience in the actuarial field) + (Number of SOA exams passed) ≥ 10
