Systems Engineer, IT Support
We are seeking a highly skilled Net Sapiens Engineer to join our Level 3 Technical Support team. This role combines deep Net Sapiens platform expertise with customer-facing support responsibilities and internal infrastructure management. You'll be the go-to expert for complex Net Sapiens implementations, troubleshooting, and optimization while supporting both our customers and internal engineering teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, deploy, and maintain Net Sapiens UCaaS platform environments
Troubleshoot complex Net Sapiens routing, provisioning, and service delivery issues
Perform Net Sapiens system optimization and performance tuning
Manage Net Sapiens integrations with third-party systems and carriers
Execute Net Sapiens platform upgrades and maintenance procedures
Customer & Reseller SupportProvide Level 3 technical support to customers and reseller partners
Diagnose and resolve escalated Net Sapiens-related service issues
Create and maintain technical documentation for Net Sapiens procedures
Conduct technical training sessions for customers and internal teams
Collaborate with sales engineering on complex Net Sapiens implementations
Infrastructure & Development SupportSupport internal development teams with Net Sapiens API integrations
Assist with provisioning and configuration of Net Sapiens services via automation
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
Contribute to infrastructure as code initiatives for Net Sapiens deployments
Required Qualifications Technical Skills3+ years hands-on experience with Net Sapiens platform (configuration, administration, troubleshooting)
Strong understanding of SIP protocol, VoIP call flows, and telecom fundamentals
Experience with Net Sapiens API and automation capabilities
Knowledge of telecom carrier integration and SIP trunking
Proficiency in network troubleshooting and packet analysis tools
Understanding of DNS, NAT, firewalls, and network security principles
Professional SkillsExcellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong documentation and knowledge sharing capabilities
Experience working in fast-paced support environments
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Preferred QualificationsExperience with other unified communications platforms (Asterisk, Avaya, Cisco, etc.)
Scripting experience (Python, Bash, Power Shell)
AWS or cloud infrastructure knowledge
Telecom industry certifications
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
