IT Project Manager# IT Project Manager Flowood, MS 39232## Overview Level Experienced Position  Type Full Time Category Information  Technology## Description The IT Project Manager is responsible for providing internal technology consulting, technical project planning and deployment, and oversight on key initiatives and implementation projects ensuring that the deliverables are completed on-time, within scope/budget, and at a high level of quality.  

The position reports to the IT Director.
* Serve as the company’s internal technology project manager to business unit leaders and research/recommend technology options that appropriately fit their needs.
* Serve as IT Project Deployment Manager and liaison between the technology vendor and internal customers as it pertains to project evaluation, procurement, planning, resource allocation, installation, communication, and training.  Coordinate with IT Director to procure the internal and external resources needed for implementation.
* Serve as Project Manager and administer implementation of assigned projects as it relates to the IT department’s Data Center. Execute related analysis, capacity planning, documentation, and plan testing.  Administer the development and documentation of IT policies and procedures.
* Make periodic onsite visits to company branch locations to collaborate with internal customers and discuss technology projects.

* Participate in department related security audits, penetration testing, and compliance audits as assigned.
* Follow mentorship and guidance of the Senior IT Project Manager on project management practices, tools, and standards.  Respond to critical issues and participate in the IT department after-hours support rotation schedule. Be reachable by phone and/or email for escalation on critical issues outside of scheduled on-call rotation.## Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent is required and 9 years of I.T. project management or related I.T. experience, OR, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field preferred and 5 years of I.T. project management or related I.T. experience or equivalent combination.
* Solid understanding of information technology fundamental tools and concepts.
* Seasoned experience with IT analysis, planning, gathering requirement documents, planning/development of functional architectures/specs, and other related duties.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to professionally engage with a diverse group of business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and subject matter experts.
* Demonstrated success in an environment where high levels of multi-tasking are required.
* Seasoned ability to work independently as well as lead and motivate cross-functional teams to interact with all levels of the business.
