The Cashier is responsible for providing quality service to create an exceptional dining experience for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi employees. Responsibilities include following cash/credit tendering procedures to secure and account for monies, accurately transacting cafeteria sales, food preparation, setting up serving areas, serving employees, and cleaning the Blues Café area, utensils, and equipment. The Cashier functions as a team player and provides prompt, courteous service that exemplifies the Company’s commitment to Health & Wellness and Service Excellence.

Job-Specific Requirements

• High School diploma required;
  Associate’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience as a cashier required.
• Organized and able to handle a variety of duties.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
