Job Overview

Join Target as a General Merchandise and Food Sales team member, where you will lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. You will also conduct inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

Starting hourly rate: $15.00 USD per hour

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping them with their needs.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to achieve business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, and arranging merchandise.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures (if certified).
• Execute processes, including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy.
• Learn operational procedures and their impact on inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.
