Sales Representative

Brian Downes - State Farm Agency, located in Flushing, NY, is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Sales Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member (sales experience preferred ). Insurance experience is not required as we will train the right person with the right skill set. Must be able to obtain a Property and Casualty license and Life and Health license.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Work with the office management to achieve both team and individual goals.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
• Self-motivated
• Detail oriented
• Ability to make product presentations over the phone and in person to potential customers
• Knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance products
• License/Certification:
• Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
• Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
