Behaviour Mentor – SEN Provision – Folkestone
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people who need guidance, consistency and positive role models? A specialist SEN school in Folkestone is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team and provide targeted support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD & PMLD. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy working closely with pupils to help them build confidence, develop positive behaviours and engage successfully with school life.
Role- Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support to pupils
- Support emotional regulation and social development
- Implement positive behaviour strategies and routines
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams
- Act as a consistent, calm and supportive presence throughout the school day
- Experience working with children or young people in SEN, SEMH, youth work, education, care or mental health settings
- Calm, patient and resilient approach to behaviour support
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Youth Studies, Education or similar encouraged to apply
- A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
Excellent on‑site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
£85 - £95 per day, Mon‑Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only.
You must have right to work in the UK to apply – no Visa sponsorship.
On‑site parking included.
