Teaching Assistant

About the Role

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of supportive and welcoming primary schools. We have both long‑term opportunities starting in September, as well as flexible day‑to‑day supply roles available.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, or individuals looking to gain experience within education.

• Support pupils across KS1 and KS2 classrooms
• Opportunities may involve working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant supporting individual pupils, or as a general classroom TA supporting the wider class
• Work closely with class teachers to support learning and development
• Provide one-to-one and small group intervention support where required
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Support classroom behaviour and pupil wellbeing

• Previous experience working with children or within schools is desirable
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
