Position: Trust Mobile Cleaning and Facilities Officer and Full-time

We are looking to recruit a Trust Mobile Cleaning and Facilities Officer to join our team covering our schools in predominently Folkestone and occasionally Dover, accounting for both planned and unplanned staff absences. The successful canidate will be responsible for locking the schools and making all safety checks at the end of the day. Duties will include ad-hoc repairs to the school building and grounds.

Inspecting and patrolling the school building and grounds as well as carrying out cleaning duties. This will involve mopping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, cleaning corridors, toilet areas and all related duties. You will also be required to move furniture and use heavy duty cleaning equipment. You must have a can-do attitude and work well in a team. Previous industrial cleaning essential.

The ideal candidate willhave:

  • Experience of facilities and operational functions (desirabe)
  • Experience of working with, or willing to be trained in the use of Computer Assisted Facilities Management Software (CAPM) (Essential)
  • Full Manual UK Driving Licence (Essential)
  • Own Transport (Desirable)
  • Be Reliable and Trustworthy

Working 15 hours a week Monday - Friday 16:00
-19:00

Term Time + 4 additional weeks (42 weeks in total)
