** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
* Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
* Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
* Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
* Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
* Basic understanding of digital circuit concepts
* Extensive experience with FPGA HDL (Field Programmable Gate Array Hardware Description Language) development, simulation and analysis, utilizing the VHDL language
* Average to Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power point and Visio)
* ** The ability to obtain & maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
**** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Digital Signal Processing Experience
* Familiary with Xylinx/AMD FPGA Devices
* Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
* Familiarity with VHDL (preferred) or Verilog,
* Familiarity with Vivado, Quartis, Model Sim/Questa, Aldec, ActiveHDL
* Familiarity with bi-directional traceability
* Familiarity with software development processes
* Familiarity with Verification, Validation, and Quality Assurance
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
* Progressive experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $ - $. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
