We are searching for a High Speed I/O Design engineer at our Micron Technology’s HBM Team in Folsom, California. As a high speed Design engineer, you will be working for intensive applications such as artificial intelligence and high performance computing solution, High Bandwidth Memory.  As a Design Engineer you will be collaborating with peer teams crossing Micron global footprint, in a multiple projects-based environment.
** Responsibilities
* ** Architect high-speed clocking networks for HBM applications in AI and HPC.
* Evaluate PLL performance and minimize sources of clock jitter and timing variation.
* Establish timing budgets and analyze clock path integrity.
* Collaborate across Micron’s global engineering teams in a multi-project environment.
* Contribute to effective project management and technical communication.
* Support layout-aware design decisions impacting speed, capacitance, power, and area.
* Ensure physical verification and quality of custom layout.
* Participate in multiple tape-out cycles and post-silicon validation.
** Qualifications
* ** 10+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal development.
* Master’s degree in Electronic or VLSI Engineering preferred.
* Expertise in CMOS signal integrity and advanced process technologies.
* Strong understanding of analog layout fundamentals and parasitic effects.
* Proven ability to implement high-quality layouts under complex design constraints.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills in physical verification and debug.
* Experience with DRAM product bring-up and advanced packaging (TSV, hybrid bonding, interposers).The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$ - $Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.
