BASE SALARY RANGE: $115,000 - $145,000

Company has an immediate need to fill a mid-level civil engineering position. As a member of our team, the successful candidate will perform a variety of Civil and Water Resource planning and design tasks for projects requiring the following skills/experience:

  • Foundational experience as a project engineer producing final design products and study analyses and deliverables
  • Good communication skills with staff and with internal and external clients
  • Good organization habits, time management, and budget management
  • Good record of project successes as demonstrated by repeat business from one or more clients
  • Good references
  • Client relationships are a plus, but not a requirement; we’ll consider candidates from outside our area willing to relocate
What you bring
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr
  • 4-8 years of experience in the water resources field
  • Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D is required
  • Potable drinking water experience
Additional capabilities desired but not required include
  • Water supply design (pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, etc)
  • Levee design
  • Hydrologic/Hydraulic modeling (HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑FDA, Info Water, etc.)
