Qualcomm is looking for an experienced Windows Product Manager with a passion for Windows software solutions running on Windows on Snapdragon on Qualcomm SoCs. The ideal candidate understands product categories across multiple software layers including Windows Operating System, Kernel, Compiler, Drivers, BIOS features, and Enterprise Software. As a Windows Software Product Manager, you will own and drive all platform software aspects and deliver best-in-class solutions for next-generation Consumer and Enterprise products based on Windows on Snapdragon.

You will work closely with software architects, OS and kernel developers, CPU architects, and SOC architects to define performance optimization strategies to deliver the best performing Windows on Snapdragon desktop devices. We are looking for a self-starter with strong leadership, who can drive analysis and planning with senior technical members from Qualcomm and external partners. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Development of software architecture that scales and is portable across diverse Windows on Snapdragon compute products based on Qualcomm So Cs
• Partner closely with core technology teams to create a roadmap of software offerings to OEMs, ODMs & third-party application vendors
• Drive software engineering with deep technical understanding and work across teams to build consensus
• Deep understanding of Windows Operating System
• Proficiency with software portability across multiple generation hardware platforms
• Present data to the team and leadership on software gaps and options to close gaps and expand market reach
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for analysis, optimizations, benchmarks, etc.
• Collaborate with others inside and outside of the project team to accomplish objectives
• Make decisions based on incomplete or ambiguous requirements; manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for larger projects
• Act as a tech lead on projects and own the outcome
• Lead others with technical credibility

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field
• 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience

• 7+ years of Product Management or related work experience
• 2+ years of working with operating budgets and/or project financials
• 2+ years of negotiating 3rd party business agreements
• 2+ years of working in a large matrixed organization
