Full Time – Lead Engineer & CAD Administrator position to champion Autodesk Inventor and Vault systems.
Opportunity SnapshotLead engineer to drive efficient design workflows, data management, and engineering support across the organization. Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and design teams.
What You’ll Do- Manage and maintain Autodesk Inventor and Vault systems for optimal performance and security.
- Configure and enforce CAD standards, templates, and best practices.
- Provide training and hands‑on support to engineers and designers.
- Develop and implement automated workflows and scripts (iLogic).
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to streamline design and data management processes.
- Create detailed 3D models and shop drawings that meet EIS design and production standards.
- Manage Engineering Service Requests and coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure data integrity within Vault, including version control and access management.
- Support integration between Vault, ERP (Epicor) and PLM systems.
- Define best practices for file management, revision control, and collaboration.
- Partner with IT to manage software updates, licenses, and configurations.
- Maintain compliance with company and industry standards in documentation and safety.

Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering design environment.
- Expertise with Autodesk Inventor, Vault Professional, and iLogic scripting.
- Experience with wood, metal, plastics, and other commercial furniture materials.
- Understanding of GD&T, design‑for‑manufacturability, and mechanical drafting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor 10+) and data integration concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and solid documentation skills.
- Ability to train and mentor CAD users.
