In this role, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful business relationships and help customers achieve their financial goals.
Providing guidance to help customers make decisions about their financial needs.
- Developing new business and building relationships with new and existing customers.
- Managing and retaining a portfolio of profitable lending relationships.
- Identifying lending opportunities and recommending solutions based on customer needs.
- Negotiating loan structures and coordinating lending documentation.
- Growing customer relationships to support individual and Bank production goals.
The following skills are needed to be successful in your banking career as a Commercial Lender:
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, referral sources, and coworkers.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial information, credit risk, collateral, and lending opportunities.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through phone, email, in-person conversations, presentations, and negotiations.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing customer and business needs.
