Join Ahern's team as an IT Applications Specialist. This role is based in Fond du Lac, WI and supports the company's construction management and service ERP system.
How You Will ContributeWe’re seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Applications Specialist to join our IT team. This position can be based out of any of our Wisconsin offices and offers the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our construction management and service ERP system. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external vendors to plan, develop, and implement system improvements and upgrades, perform functional testing, and document new features and enhancements.
You’ll also provide second‑level support to troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities to improve our user experience. As you grow in this position, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our business operations and processes, using that knowledge to guide and empower users to make the most of our technology tools.
A degree in Information Technology or a related field and 1–2+ years of ERP support experience are preferred. Strong SQL skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical users are essential. You should be organized, analytical, and a problem‑solver who enjoys collaborating with others to make technology work better.
