1st Shift Laborer at Sadoff Iron and Metal

Join our team for a stable, Monday through Friday schedule where culture and care matter. The Laborer will sort and prepare various materials to meet customer specifications across multiple departments.

• Perform light maintenance work as needed.
• Push and pull while sorting materials.
• Understand quality specifications for jobs and customer shipments.
• Complete production reports as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
• Listen, understand, and follow directions.

• 1 to 2 years of related experience.

• Complete physically demanding work.
• Good hand-eye-foot coordination and balance.
• Climb ladders, bend, crawl into awkward spaces.
• Perform activities requiring arms, legs, whole body: climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, stooping.
• Bend, stretch, push, pull, move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Prolonged standing.
• Perform repetitive movements over long periods.

• Maintain manual dexterity and stability for precision work.
• Maintain single-task focus and situational awareness.

• Work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells at the plant.
• Work in extreme heat and cold as needed.
